						 Michael Diaz  has thirty-five years executive experience in domestic and international transportation and 
logistics that spans all rail, highway and ocean disciplines. The majority of Mr. Diaz's career was with American President 
Lines LTD.  Mr. Diaz was responsible for the combined P&L of the corporation ($2.8 billion in sales), managed the domestic 
transportation group, developed and grew the third party logistics entity and operated overseas as general manager and 
later president of all offshore divisions. As President of the offshore divisions, Mr. Diaz opened the China market for 
APL. He was COO of the domestic units and Chairman, American Consolidated Services.  
 Mr. Diaz was responsible for the 
introduction of the first non-Panamax containerships in the industry to the transpacific trade. This introduction required 
structural changes in pricing and marketing, deployments, port facilities and handling. He was also Managing Director for 
APL's port operations at Los Angeles, Oakland and Taiwan. Most recently Mr. Diaz has worked with Manalytics/Transystems, 
one of the country's largest transportation design firms in a contract consulting position. Mr. Diaz completed the Stanford 
Graduate School of Business Executive Management Program and holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Dartmouth 
College.
